Happy New Year from the Ripon Chamber of Commerce Staff and Board of Directors. Our wish is for good health, business success and wonderful New Year for each of our members. We look forward with great anticipation to help our members succeed in 2012.
Our Chamber is saddened to announce the retirement of our Executive Director
Dorothy Booth. Dorothy will be greatly missed and we as a Board want to
personally thank her for a “job well done”. We wish her only the best in retirement
and much happiness.
In Dorothy’s place, we have named Sandra “Sam” Carhart as Interim Executive Director. With the capable assistants of Bonnie Nutt, we are confident that members will be well taken care of. Dorothy left us with two fine replacements, and we are grateful to have them. Please stop by to say “howdy” and give them your support.
Our next two months will be filled with Almond Blossom activities. Our “50th”
Anniversary will be kicked off with dinner and introduction of our Almond Blossom Queens, Thursday, January 12th at Spring Creek Country Club. We will be honoring our Past Queens and the Bodeson family, in memory of Bud Bodeson. Please call the office for your tickets to this very exciting event.
That is it for this month. Happy New Year. See you at the Festival!
Respectfully,
Marge Imfeld
President
