BIO:
For over 20 years top companies have turned to Rob because of his ability to authentically connect with people.
Rob graduated from Westmont in 1998 with a degree in social science. Before and after he became a full-time student, he worked as an E.M.T. on a 9-1-1 ambulance for 9 years. He was also was a volunteer firefighter for 4 years in his hometown of Ripon, California. Following college, he began working as a cartographer and then a sales manager at Maps.com. He then joined the staff of his alma mater as director of the President’s Associates in February, 2003. In this role, Rob met with alumni and parents, thanking them for their support. He enjoyed finding ways to connect them with Westmont.

In early 2012, Rob got the opportunity to work for National Geographic's maps division. The life-long Californian moved his family from one coast to the other, settling near the water in Annapolis. At National Geographic, Rob quickly began to have an impact. He was able to print wall maps for classrooms on a water/tear proof paper, bringing them off the wall and into the hands of students.

Rob has returned to his hometown of Ripon California. He is working for Bethany Home as Director of Development and Communications. Rob is enjoying reconnecting with the community he grew up in. He's glad to be using his fundraising and marketing skills to help deepen the connection people in the area have with an amazing senior care facility.

In his spare time, Rob is a championship wrestler, well-mannered tea party guest, and master storyteller to his three children. His wife, Janice, is the alumni relations director at University of the year Pacific and they spend weekends exploring the Northern California.
