BIO: I spent most of my adult life living in the Sacramento area and was active in community volunteering with the local school districts and served on various boards in the past. In addition, I have served as an elected official on a water board and understand the complexities of navigating through community and elected officials to form partnerships in achieving a common goal. My professional career has been mostly with Blue Diamond Growers, a farmer owned cooperative made up of over 3,000 California Almond Farmers. I spent 25 years at the corporate office in Sacramento as the plant engineer and then transferred to our Salida plant 8 years ago to manage the entire operation. I am responsible for all plant operations, which includes 370 employees, engineering, budgets, 24/7 operation, food safety, short and long term strategic goals and sustainability. I routinely interact with growers, vendors, elected officials and employees to achieve stated goals.

To this day being involved in the Chamber fills me with a sense of excitement and I have a particular passion for our downtown. I am encouraged by the positive changes I have seen take place in the Ripon Chamber’s role in recent years; changes that position it to better serve all members and the business community as a whole.
